Some things

1. Don't feel entitled to things, always be prepared to strive for something

2. Don't presume too much, be it how others think of you, how well you're doing, how easy/hard something is going to be

3. Communication is important and can't be replaced by guesswork

4. Life is random and unfair, accept that and enjoy the smooth moments
5. Don't incessantly compare myself to others, some things were never meant to be

6. Don't expect opportunities to come round twice, don't let fear cost the big picture
7. Don't be arrogant, show vulnerabilities if necessary
8. Don't daydream and be deluded
9. Be focussed and keep it; easy to lose focus in this digital age.
